- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I've been a customer of TEC Metals for over a year now and I have to say they are the best refiner I've come across. Their actual payout is more than any refiner that I've found. They also buy diamonds for a very good price which means I just have to deal with one company for everything. I also like that they're actually located in Sarasota so I can drive over and drop off my shipments and get paid while I wait. The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I've never had an issue with "melt loss" being higher than it should and they don't charge any assaying or refining fees.By Matt Gold, November 23, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Unbelievable- I work for a reputable marine electronics repair company here in Sarasota and I went to TEC metals to ask about selling them our silver relay contacts we often get. I approached the door and pressed the doorbell and explained who I was and why I was there and was rudely told by an angry sounding woman "We don't do business with you" she wouldn't even come to the door to talk to me! I just don't think that's how potential customers should be treated and it sure leaves a bad impression! I'd be happy to alter this review to reflect my experience with them if they ever decide they want to do business with me.By Ben Bogard, November 18, 2016
